Students planning to pursue a four-year degree in an energy-related/supportive program, at an accredited College or University, or to enroll in an accredited Trade or Vocational degree program to learn an industry­ related/supportive skill or trade, may apply to receive
one of two scholarships.

The Patti & Walter Blenko Scholarship Fund for the Performing or Technical Arts provides scholarship money to Pittsburgh-area high school seniors who are pursuing higher education in the performing arts that meet talent and financial need criteria.

The 2025 Sam Reno Scholarship is for students expecting to attend an undergraduate college in the Fall after their graduation.

The Robert Reno Scholarship is specifically intended for students attending a technical school in the Fall after graduation

Each year, the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber Educational Foundation awards both students going to college/university and the trades.

College Scholarships- due Friday, April 17. This scholarship is open to any senior high school student from Pennsylvania who is accepted to enter college this fall, awarded annually to students deemed by the Foundation to have exemplary community service records and work experience..

The PHEAA PA Forward Student Loans Scholarship Sweepstakes is open to Pennsylvania residents who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Winners must be enrolled (or plan to enroll) as a college student for the 2026–27 school year, or be a parent/guardian of one, and enrollment must be verified to receive the prize.

Through the PATH Program, qualifying students may be eligible for additional grant money.

This scholarship is for high school seniors from traditionally underserved backgrounds, minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0, been accepted at a full-time accredited post-secondary institution

Graduating seniors that are enrolling in a plumbing, HVAC, mechanical engineering, or other construction related field. Transcript request due 2 weeks prior to deadline.

All applicants must be the child of a Marine or a Navy Corpsman, Chaplain or Religious Programs specialist attached to a Marine unit, have a cumulative GPA of 2.00, and have an adjusted gross income at or below the financial eligibility threshold determined by the Foundation on an annual basis. Additional documents may be required during the application process to verify eligibility. All who qualify and submit a completed application will receive an award. Award amounts range from $2,500 to $10,000 per year and are renewable. The undergraduate application is due March 1. To qualify for the Career and Technical Education Scholarship, an applicant must Have completed high school by July 1, plan to attend a not-for-profit community college or trade/vocational school, enroll in an associate’s degree, certificate, or diploma program by September that will lead to employment, and demonstrate financial need

Empire Beauty School students reaching 90 percent cumulative attendance are eligible for a $1000 scholarship

This scholarship contest has no purchase or transaction necessary and is open to all full-time 12th grade students that expect to graduate this school year.
