This scholarship supports students who aspire to enter the nursing profession (at any level) and carry forward the values that defined Trevor’s work: dedication, integrity, resilience, and a genuine desire to serve others. It is intended for individuals who demonstrate both academic promise and a heartfelt commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families, and communities.

Scholarships vary- can be for 2 or 4 year programs, specific school or major, GPA, or economic need. Students should use the search function to find funds and check if they meet the eligibility.

CURRENT Sophomore or Juniors only! Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) gives students a hands-on experience in running a business. In just one week, participants work in teams with a business mentor to manage an underperforming company, making real business decisions in areas like production, marketing, finance, and HR. Teams compete in a business simulation, create marketing plans, and present their strategies, while developing skills in teamwork, creativity, and leadership.

Students also hear from business leaders on topics like entrepreneurship, communication, and career development, participate in a quiz bowl and a reality fair, and get a taste of college life. Many say PFEW teaches more in one week than a whole school year, helping them understand and appreciate the American free enterprise system while discovering their passion for business.

Through the PATH Program, qualifying students may be eligible for additional grant money.

Applications are now open for the PA House of Representatives Scholarship Program, administered through The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC). Each year, two graduating PA high school seniors receive a four-year scholarship equal to one semester of State System of Higher Education tuition per year, as long as eligibility is maintained. Eligible students must be PA residents, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, attend a PA postsecondary school full-time, and demonstrate leadership, community involvement, extracurricular participation, and financial need (children of legislators/staff are not eligible).

The Minuteman Campaign is a U.S. Army Cadet Command initiative to offer Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) scholarships to candidates that self-select for service in a Reserve component. The GRFD scholarship provides full tuition and fees or room and board ($12,000 per year) for up to four years at a public or private school who hosts an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. If you are a high school senior interested in receiving an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) scholarship and commissioning into the Army Reserve, the GRFD Minuteman Scholarship provides you an excellent opportunity.

Resident of the Borough of Millvale, 2.5 GPA or higher, attending a 2-4 year school in Pennsylvania

Attending a 2-4 year school, careers dedicated to children (education, social work, therapists)

All applicants must be the child of a Marine or a Navy Corpsman, Chaplain or Religious Programs specialist attached to a Marine unit, have a cumulative GPA of 2.00, and have an adjusted gross income at or below the financial eligibility threshold determined by the Foundation on an annual basis. Additional documents may be required during the application process to verify eligibility. All who qualify and submit a completed application will receive an award. Award amounts range from $2,500 to $10,000 per year and are renewable. The undergraduate application is due March 1. The students must have a 3.0 GPA and will graduate from a high school, attend a college or university after graduation, and Applicant must complete an application and an essay (500 words or less) detailing how they have made a difference in their community and how that involvement impacted their community and life.

The 2025–2026 Dream… Innovate… Grow Trade School & College Scholarship (sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices) will award three high school seniors a $4,000 scholarship ($1,000 per year for four years) for students attending a trade school, college, or university full-time. Winners selected based on leadership, volunteerism, character, and positive attitude.

Carl felt that by playing a varsity sport, the student learns many life lessons that are not taught in a book. These lessons, along with continued education, are extremely valuable to the well-rounded success of the student. The Carl Seidl Memorial Scholarship benefits Shaler Area graduating seniors who: are advancing to some form of post-secondary education, qualify on a basis of merit, have outstanding character and have participated in a Shaler Area Varsity level team sport

Any 2025 graduating class members of area High Schools, other High Schools but a full time resident of Shaler Township, or a child or grandchild of a current Post 785 member who has at least 3 consecutive years of Post 785 membership.

America250PA is awarding $250,000 in scholarships to Pennsylvania high school seniors who will attend an accredited Pennsylvania college or university during the 2026–2027 school year. A total of 25 scholarships worth $10,000 each will be awarded across the state’s six regions, with up to 12 for community colleges and up to 13 for other PA colleges/universities.
