DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS

Shaler Area School District is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations; FT, 12- mo. pos., available September 01, 2025; student enrollment approx. 3800; $100M budget.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Bus. Admin./Accounting and a min. of five years of public school finance exp.  CPA & PA Certified School Business Administrator  (PCSBA) Cert. preferred. Candidate must also possess exceptional skills in the areas of financial mgmt., communication, and community relations.

HIGH SCHOOL –  GR.  9-12 – ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Permanent, 12-month position.  Enrollment approx. 1140; grades 9-12.  Strong oral and written communication; visible leader; differentiated supervision; knowledge of special education guidelines and regulations; strong background in curriculum and instructional practices; experience in student assistance programs; ability to construct a building schedule; attendance and discipline background including background in school-wide Positive Behavior Support; strong technical skills.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for a full-time ELECTRICIAN. Candidate must possess a Class E electrician’s license and have experience in a commercial environment. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, computer literate, valid drivers license, and ability to work at heights. Act 34, 151, and 114 clearances required.

TRANSPORTATION & BUSINESS OFFICE SUPPORT SECRETARY

The Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for full-time support in our Business Office as a liaison between district inquiries and our transportation vendor regarding the daily transportation of our students. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of computer technology relating to school business operations, at least intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word/Excel, and high customer service skills. PART-TIME PRINT SHOP CLERK

The Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for part-time support in our district Print/Copy shop (3hrs/day, 4 days/week). This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Print Shop to ensure jobs are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Must be computer literate and have familiarity with basic software and copy shop equipment; attention exceptional time management; attention to detail and organizational skills required.
