On September 29th, Reserve Primary hosted a family engagement night on supporting children through grief and loss. This compassionate workshop, presented by Highmark Caring Place, helped parents and caregivers understand how children experience grief and equipped them with practical strategies to support kids through loss, change, and difficult transitions at home and school.

Parents left with new tools, including understanding how children process grief at different ages; recognizing signs of grief in behavior and emotions; communicating openly and age-appropriately about loss; and equipped to create safe spaces for healing at home and school.
