Students at Burchfield came together with a “Kind to the Community” initiative during Kindness Month. Led by Nicole Henne, the project included sharing kind words/actions done by Burchfield students (featuring daily announcements highlighting each kind act and “kind” hearts posted) as well as a fundraiser for Animal Friends that raised $1,500!

Thanks to the leadership of Ms. Henne and the involvement of students, therapets were able to visit all students at Burchfield on Friday, February 20! Small acts with big hearts paws-itively make a difference!
