On October 6, nearly 600 students auditioned at South Fayette High School for the PMEA Honors Bands. Congratulations to the following students for auditioning and earning a seat in the District Band.

• Gwenyth Colvin (10) – Clarinet
• Andrew Purucker (12) – French Horn
• Katie Williams (12) – Tenor Saxophone

These talented musicians will rehearse with the ensemble and perform at South Park High School, February 5–7, 2026. The festival features top students from 54 school districts across Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene, and Fayette Counties. The ensemble will be conducted by Dennis Glocke, Director of Concert Bands at The Pennsylvania State University.
