Each year, students at Burchfield Primary School participate in a pivotal decision: what will the principal’s Halloween costume be? The annual tradition of selecting Mr. Rojik’s costume is more than just fun and games: it raises funds for Highmark Caring Place. This year, students could vote if they wanted Mr. Rojik to be Bluey’s dad Bandit, a capybara, or Mario.
When the votes were tallied, Mr. Rojik donned the capybara costume and an impressive $600 was raised for the Highmark Caring Place. Thank you to everyone who donated to support the important work Highmark Caring Place does supporting children affected by loss.
