Scott Primary kicked off the new school year with its beloved house sorting celebration, and the energy in the room was contagious! One by one, our newest Scott students stepped forward to reach into the magical Sorting Book, discovering which of our six spirited houses would become their new school family.

As names were called, cheers rang out across the room. Was it Amicus, the purple House of Kindness? Tiyaga, the blue House of Perseverance? Fidelis, the green House of Trustworthiness? Ami, the yellow House of Friendship? Quantum, the orange House of Respect? Or Officium, the red House of Responsibility? Whichever house welcomed them, one thing was certain: a new sense of belonging had just begun.

Returning students greeted their newest teammates with high-fives, hugs, and plenty of house pride, proving once again that the Scott community welcomes every student with open arms. The sorting celebration is more than a fun tradition, it’s a meaningful first step in building the values of kindness, perseverance, trustworthiness, friendship, respect, and responsibility that guide our students all year long.
