Scott Primary Welcome Letter

Dear Scott Primary Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Scott Primary! I hope your family enjoyed a wonderful summer and is excited for the year ahead. As we are preparing to welcome students back, we are looking forward to another year of learning, growth, and new opportunities.

This year brings exciting changes as Scott Primary continues to grow. While growth brings excitement, it can also bring questions and uncertainty. Many of our families have built strong connections and wonderful memories at Scott, and our goal is to build on the traditions, relationships, and sense of belonging that have always made our school special.

At Scott Primary, we believe every child should feel known, valued, and that they belong. As our school community grows, our commitment to knowing and supporting each student remains the same. We strive to know our students not just by name, but by their strengths, interests, and unique stories. Every child deserves adults who believe in them and help them feel connected.

Our culture is built through the small moments that happen every day—a teacher greeting a student by name, a family feeling welcomed, a classmate showing kindness, or an adult taking time to listen. Our House System, PBIS, family events, and community partnerships are all intentional ways we strengthen relationships and create a sense of belonging.

This year’s theme remains Six Houses—One Family. As we welcome new students and families, our purpose remains the same: creating a school where every child and every family feels welcomed, respected, and valued.
