Shaler Area High School seniors Kaysia Chelli, Maddie Walker, and Adrianna Dorovenis were awarded the Changemaker award by the nonprofit Communitopia. It is for their work in sustainability and the community. They were honored at the Pittsburgh Youth Climate Summit held at MuseumLab.

The Communitopia Changemaker Award celebrates the accomplishments of five extraordinary youth who are actively using their minds and voices to ignite climate change or sustainability action within their schools and communities.
