The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) is pleased to announce Shaler Area Middle School will be hosting the Jr. High District 1 West Band Fest, which will take place on April 4 and 5, 2025. This year’s event will include 118 students from 46 schools. The guest conductor for the program will be Mrs. Elisabeth Heath Charles. The festival host is Mrs. Ellen Spondike, music teacher at Shaler Area Middle School. A public concert will be presented on April 5, 2025, beginning at 2:00pm in the Shaler Area Middle School Auditorium.
