The Shaler Area High School Performing Arts Department is excited to announce an unforgettable trip to New York City from March 14–17, 2025! A variety of talented ensembles from the High School Band, Choir, and Orchestra programs will be competing on a national stage through the Performing Arts Consultant (PAC), at Felician University. These groups will be adjudicated by professionals in their fields and will compete against other ensembles from across the nation.

On March 17th, the final day of the trip, the Titan Marching Band will march in the iconic 2025 New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade. As the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the world, this spectacular event draws over 2 million spectators each year. The parade, which began in 1762—fourteen years before the signing of the Declaration of Independence—will make its way down Fifth Avenue, from East 44th Street to East 79th Street.
