The PIAA requires one comprehensive physical per year for eligibility to participate in interscholastic athletics. The PIAA requires that the date on the PIAA Physicians Form, Section 6, must be no earlier than May 1, 2024 for the current school year. If the date on the form is incorrect, the physical will be returned, and the athlete will be ineligible to participate until the physical is dated properly. We do not require any immunization information as is stated in the physical packet. We will not accept any physical paperwork that is not on the PIAA AND SHALER AREA forms.
The fee for all physicals taken at school is $10.00 and is due at the time of the Physical. There will be a Functional Movement assessment offered for spring sports physicals.
Checks are preferred and can be made out to “S.A.S.D.”
ALL PHYSICAL PACKETS MUST BE FILLED OUT COMPLETELY AND SIGNED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN TO RECEIVE A PHYSICAL. WE ARE ASKING THAT ONLY SPRING SPORTS REPORT FOR PHYSICALS AT THE DESIGNATED TIMES.
SPRING SPORTS PHYSICALS FOR ALL STUDENTS (GRADES 7 – 12) – WILL BE HELD ON Monday, February 17, 2025 at the High School. Your report time is based on the letter of your last name.
9:00 – Letters A-E
9:15 am – Letters F – J
9:30 am – Letters K – O
9:45 am – Letters P – T
10:00 am – Letters U – Z
All forms must be filled out and signed by a parent/guardian and payment is required to receive a physical.
