Join us in congratulating Ashley Lang, sixth grade student at Shaler Area Elementary School, who was selected to have her original piece of creative writing published in a Young Writers’ anthology. Ashley submitted her story to the Young Writers’ Scary Tales contest this past October and was chosen among many entries. Her work was critiqued on perception, imagination, and creativity, as well as expression, originality, and use of language. Scary Tales — Are You Afraid Of The Dark? is scheduled for publication on March 17, 2025.
