Dear Shaler Area School District Community,
As the holiday season approaches, it is a wonderful time to reflect on the many ways our Titan family has come together to Engage, Empower, and Excel throughout the year. It has been inspiring to see the dedication, passion, and resilience that define our students, staff, families, and community. Each of you plays an essential role in shaping our shared success and creating a school district where excellence is not just a goal but a way of life.
This season reminds us of the importance of connection and gratitude. We are grateful for our incredible students, who strive to learn and grow in so many ways, for our educators and staff, who bring dedication and care to their work each day, and for our families, who support and encourage their children while strengthening the bonds of our community.
The holidays are also a time to pause, celebrate, and cherish the moments that bring joy and meaning to our lives. Whether it’s gathering with loved ones, volunteering in service to others, or finding quiet time for reflection, this season gives each of us an opportunity to recharge and renew our commitment to the things we hold dear.
As we prepare to celebrate the holiday season, please note that we will have an early dismissal on Friday, December 20. Classes will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

As we look ahead to the new year, let’s continue to embrace the theme of Engage, Empower, and Excel in everything we do. And let’s excel by setting high expectations and achieving remarkable results, together as a unified Titan community.
