Students in Mrs. Ciavarra’s class were delighted by a visit from their new bunny friend, Patti! Burchfield enjoyed this enrichment opportunity through the Therapets program from Animal Friends. Students had the chance to visit with Patti and ask questions of her handler, Chelsea Bunney. Making the event even more meaningful, Chelsea is a former Burchfield student herself!

Special thanks to Animal Friends for providing a dose of cuteness and curiosity about rabbits to Mrs. Ciavarra’s classroom! Students look forward to a visit from a therapy dog soon.
