It is with immense pride and excitement that we share the incredible news that our Honors Women’s Chorus has been selected to perform at the prestigious Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) conference. This is not only a tremendous honor for our students but a defining moment that truly puts our music program on the map.
Our ensemble was chosen from over 75 groups across Pennsylvania through an extremely rigorous selection process. A distinguished panel of respected music educators, professors, and PMEA state board members evaluated each submission, and it is a remarkable achievement to have our chorus stand out in such a competitive field.
This recognition represents more than just an opportunity for our students to showcase their talents at a state level—it is a reflection of the excellence, hard work, and passion that defines our entire music program. To be featured at such a prestigious event underscores that we are at the forefront of music education in Pennsylvania.
This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students and a career milestone for our music program. It places us among the top high school ensembles in the state and raises the profile of our school within the broader music education community. We could not be prouder of this accomplishment and what it means for the future of our program.
Thank you for your continued support as we prepare for this exciting journey, and we look forward to sharing more details as the PMEA conference approaches.
