Administrative Secretary, Middle School
The Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for a 12-month Class I Administrative Secretary at the Middle School. Responsible for managing daily operations of the main office, coordinating staff coverage, assisting with procurement and summer financial checks, and supporting the Principals as needed. An associate degree or additional training is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, databases, spreadsheets, and other software required. Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential. Competitive salary/benefits. Supervisor of Project Management and Infrastructure
We’re seeking a skilled leader to oversee capital and energy management projects for our school facilities. You’ll handle everything from planning to execution, manage contractors, and ensure top-notch operation standards. Ideal candidates will have a background in engineering, experience in school constructions, and strong leadership skills.
This position requires a valid driver’s license, technology proficiency, and sufficient relevant experience with all facets of construction and building maintenance with preference for candidates who hold a Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent area of study, experience with union negotiation and administration of CBA’s, and experience with school construction, bonds and other public financing programs. Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant
The Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for a 12-mth. Administrative Assistant in our Accounts Payable Department. Responsible for assisting in District financial transactions and reports, with additional responsibilities to include mail room functions and assisting with the duties in the Business Office. An Associates degree in business administration, or related field preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years of office management experience preferred. Building and Grounds Secretary/Print Shop Asst.
The Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for part-time support in our Building & Grounds department (4hrs/day, 4 days/week) and our district Print/copy shop (3hrs/day, 3 days/week); 7hrs/day, 4days/week total. Candidates must have experience in Microsoft Word/Excel, a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in administrative/clerical role, and exceptional verbal/written communication and organizational skills required. Transportation & Business Office Support Secretary
The Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for full-time support in our Business Office as a liaison between district inquiries and our transportation vendor regarding the daily transportation of our students. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of computer technology relating to school business operations, at least intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word/Excel, and high customer service skills.
