HVAC Technician

Shaler Area School District is accepting applications for a full-time HVAC Technician.  Candidates must possess certified technical school credentials or an associate degree, along with a Universal Refrigeration certificate, valid PA Driver’s License, and a minimum of 5 years’ commercial HVAC experience.

Director of Athletics

Shaler Area School District is seeking a dynamic, visionary Director of Athletics to lead, organize, and promote all aspects of our interscholastic athletic programs. This 12-month, full-time leadership position plays a key role in ensuring excellence, equity, and compliance across all athletic programs while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and student success.

The Director will oversee program development, budgeting, athletic facilities, and staff supervision—partnering with coaches, administrators, and the community to uphold the district’s mission to Engage. Empower. Excel.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Sports Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in athletic administration and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of WPIAL, PIAA, and Title IX regulations
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree, experience with facility operations, and community partnership
    development

Start Date: December 2025
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (Act 93 aligned)

Substitute Nurse’s Aides Needed… Nurse’s Aides for special needs students and/or assisting the school nurse in the Health Office.  LPN or RN license required.
