When frigid temperatures brought a Flexible Instruction Day, Ms. Swartzbaugh’s class decided to inject a little fun into the day by declaring a hat day. Each student wore a piece of headwear to bring personality to their boxes on the video screen. From three-dimensional holiday trees to classic caps to traffic cones, the students donned all manner of hats. One student opted not to wear a hat, but to have his cat wear a Batman mask in his stead. 

On a previous Flexible Instruction Day, Ms. Swartzbaugh hosted Show and Tell. Students brought a wide array of items, from holiday gifts to pets and took turns sharing about their item and themselves. Thank you to each of our teachers who bring fun elements to engage our students.
