On March 16th, the Shaler Area Elementary School sixth grade band went to Heinz Hall to perform on the same stage as our Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. They performed two prepared pieces that were judged by 3 music professors. The kids received an excellent rating for their Pennsylvania Music Educators’ Association music performance assessment.
