In December, band students from both the High School and Middle School had the opportunity to audition for the Allegheny Valley Honors Band. This prestigious group is composed of the top musicians in grades 7–12 from several school districts in the Allegheny Valley, including Shaler Area, Pine-Richland, North Allegheny, Fox Chapel, Hampton, North Hills, Northgate, Avonworth, and Riverview. The Honors Band will hold rehearsals and a concert at North Allegheny High School on January 28-29, 2026. The Senior High guest conductor will be Dr. Arris Golden from Michigan State University and the Junior High guest conductor will be Capt. David Regner; Commander of the Air Force Band of the West, San Antonio, TX.
