On January 7th, families and community members joined district leadership for Coffee & Conversation, District Parent Council meeting, and Community Forum at Marzolf Primary School. These moments demonstrate the investment of our families and the power of collaboration when we work together for our students.
During the forum, we shared updates on the implementation of our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, highlighted early progress across our priority areas, and gathered valuable feedback to help inform next steps. These conversations strengthen our partnership with families and ensure our work remains aligned with the needs of our students and community.
The district’s mission is to create welcoming learning environments that foster academic growth, provide enhanced learning opportunities, and support career readiness, while educating the whole child for future success. We evaluated each of our four focus areas through clear, measurable criteria. This enables us to continue to hone our approach and enhance the educational experiences for our students.
One of the key successes we shared was our efforts to broaden opportunities for students to engage in STEM and Maker Learning, while developing leadership programs that promote voice, choice, and authentic problem-solving. We are making great progress toward our goal of increasing participation by 10% annually, reaching at least 75% of students by 2028.
We are grateful for your continued involvement and look forward to ongoing dialogue as we move forward together.
