Dear Shaler Area Families,

As we approach the holiday season, I am pleased to share a special message with you and your family on behalf of the Shaler Area School District. This short holiday video offers a moment to pause and reflect on the many ways our students, staff, families, and community come together to support learning and growth throughout the year.

I also hope you enjoy the beautiful musical performance featured in this video by the Shaler Area High School Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Seth McCall. Their talent and dedication reflect the pride and excellence of our performing arts programs and add a meaningful touch to our holiday celebration.

As we look ahead to the new year, I invite you to join us for a Community Forum and Coffee & Conversation on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Marzolf Primary School, held in conjunction with our January evening District Parent Council (DPC) meeting. This session will provide an opportunity to share district progress on our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan.

As we prepare to celebrate the holiday season, please note that we will have an early dismissal on Friday, December 19. Classes will resume on Monday January 5, 2026.
