Scott Primary recently welcomed teams of school leaders and administrators from several area districts to learn about the school’s PBIS House System. Visitors were able to join students during a House meeting, observe the system in action, and experience the positive culture it helps create. Afterward, the group stayed to explore more of Scott’s PBIS programming, toured the building, and met with staff to discuss implementation and student impact. The Consortium for Public Education (CPE) helped organize this visit as part of its work supporting schools in developing strong and consistent PBIS practices. CPE provides coaching, training, and opportunities for districts to learn from one another so that behavior supports can be proactive and equitable for all students. During this visit and others like it, educators gain practical ideas they can take back to their own schools. Through these collaborative experiences, CPE continues to help districts strengthen their PBIS systems and foster positive school environments.
