On Friday, November 14th, the Burchfield Primary PTO hosted its fourth-annual Fall Carnival. Julie Johnson, one of our third-grade parents, who also has a daughter in fifth-grade, planned the event for the students and families of Burchfield Primary School. To say that Julie put a ton of work into this event, would be a gross understatement.
Hours upon days upon weeks were spent planning the event, setting up prize boards and making new and exciting games that the students will love. Julie Johnson has personally built and donated several games such as the pig race and frog flipper. Just when we all thought she would.never be able to top her prior games, she managed to surprise us once again with a human slot machine game. Both our students and families alike love coming to the carnival where they can have a fun, safe evening.

In order to pull off an event of this magnitude, it requires quite a few people from the community to pull together to make an unforgettable night for the students. To all of the parents, high-school kids, and community members who took time away from their lives on a busy Friday night to help with this event, thank you. Thank you for making such an incredible night for everyone. You are the backbone of this PTO and Burchfield Primary school is lucky to have parents like you!
