Thank you for reaching out to ask how you can support our students through The Titan Community Collective. We are truly grateful for your generosity and willingness to help.
As you can imagine, some items are especially popular with our high school students, while others tend to remain on our shelves for months with limited interest. To ensure we make the best use of our space and resources—and to avoid needing to re-donate items elsewhere—we’ve compiled a list of suggested donations below that reflect what our students most often seek.
We kindly ask that all donations be new or gently used, with no stains, holes, or significant wear. Additionally, please avoid items that include references to drugs or alcohol (for example, even a nice team hoodie might have a small Iron City Beer logo). Donations can be dropped off at the HS Security office. We kindly ask that you call Ms. Anna Acres in the HS Counseling Office (412) 492-1200 ext. 1520 to schedule a drop-off time.
Your thoughtful contributions make a real difference in the lives of our students. Thank you for helping us continue to foster a supportive and inclusive community at Shaler Area High School.

- Hoodies, sweatshirts, and athletic wear (Nike, Adidas, Champion, etc.)
- Joggers, leggings, and jeans
- Sneakers and slides (men’s and women’s sizes)
- Backpacks/Bags
- School supplies (notebooks, pens, folders, calculators, etc.)
- Hygiene products (body wash, deodorant, shampoo, brushes, lotion, etc.)
- Small bottles of laundry detergent
- Non-perishable foods
- Water bottles or tumblers
- Reusable Bags
**Cash donations will be accepted at the HS Activities Office
