Dear Shaler Area community,
As we bring the 2024–2025 school year to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect, to celebrate, and to say thank you. You can view my video message here.
This year has been nothing short of incredible. From the first day of school to the final bell, our students, staff, and families have shown what it truly means to Engage, Empower, and Excel—every single day.
Our classrooms have been filled with curiosity and creativity. Our athletic fields, performance spaces, and community programs have echoed with Titan pride. Across every school, we’ve seen students rise to challenges, support one another, and grow in ways that inspire all of us.
To our students: Congratulations on a successful year! Whether you’re moving up to the next grade or graduating and stepping into your next chapter—you are ready. Keep striving. Keep believing in yourself. And never forget that you are a Titan, built to lead with purpose and passion.
To the Class of 2025: In just a few short days, you will become the fifty-fourth graduating class to walk across the field at Titan Stadium and begin a bold new chapter in your journey. This milestone reflects years of dedication, growth, resilience, and Titan pride.
As you prepare to take that final walk as Shaler Area students, know that you carry with you more than just a diploma. You carry memories, friendships, the strength of a Titan legacy, and the unwavering support of a community that has cheered you on every step of the way.
Wherever your path leads—college, career, the military, or another bold pursuit—remember this: you have the power to engage with the world around you, empower others through your actions, and excel in whatever you set your heart to.

As we head into summer, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. Read a great book, explore something new, or simply enjoy the sunshine. You’ve earned it.
