November is World Kindness month and throughout the month, Shaler Area Middle Students undertook a Kindness Campaign. The initiative worked to encourage kindness in partnership with #BeTheKindKid.

In honor of this month, Dr. Howard asked teachers to nominate students who demonstrate kindness. 10 students were selected and given a #BeTheKindKid t-shirt and a certificate. Parents also received a call from Dr. Howard discussing the contribution of kindness that each gave.

The month culminated in a Kindness Spirit Day. Together, students and staff invested in a caring community for each of us!
