Dear Shaler Area Stakeholder,

As we embark on a new chapter in our district’s journey, we are excited to begin the strategic planning process for 2025–2031. With our commitment to the theme of “Engage, Empower, Excel,” we are focused on creating a vision for the future that reflects the aspirations and needs of our entire school community.

To guide this effort, we are inviting all residents of Etna, Millvale, Reserve, and Shaler and all Shaler Area alumni to participate in a survey that will help us gather valuable insights and feedback. Your input is essential as we evaluate our progress toward achieving the skills and dispositions outlined in the Portrait of a Graduate and identify our strengths and areas for growth. By contributing your perspective, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our district and ensuring we continue to provide an excellent educational experience for all our students.
