On February 28th, the Japan-America Society of PA hosted their annual Japanese Speech Contest. Each student participating had to write, memorize, and present a 5 minute speech entirely in Japanese. Students from Shaler Area High School participated and demonstrated their dedication and language acquisition.
Shaler Area High School Japanese teacher Balsomico shared, “I’m very proud of these students, and the hard work they put into this very challenging task.”
