As part of Shaler Area Elementary School’s School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Support program (SWPBIS), every student made a link for our “Kindness Chain.” In November, students shared a kind act that had been done for them on a link. Then in December, they wrote another link explaining a kind act they did for someone else.

The chains are hung around the building at SAES, a constant reminder of the kindness that connects us and the positive impact we can have on the lives of others.
