Shaler Area High School students entered multiple creative designs into the Gingerbread Display at The Block Northway, and two groups emerged on top placing 1st and 2nd in the grades 9–12 division. Here are some highlights:

• 1st place was titled “Into the Gingerverse” and was designed by a group of seniors: Jayden Aryee, Alaina Henline, Riley Sines, Katie Williams, and Delaney Zagger
• 2nd place was titled “Up” and was designed by a pair of sophomores: Emily Bedeck and Abby Maher

Each winning group was awarded a variety of gift cards from stores and restaurants at the mall

The houses are on display at the mall on the lower level between DSW and Land’s End now through January 15th, 2025
