Dear Shaler Area Families,
We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations on a successful first week of the new school year! It has been wonderful to see our students back in the classrooms, engaged in learning, and reuniting with friends and teachers. Your support and preparation have made this a smooth transition, and we are excited for the year ahead.
As we settle into our routines, we want to acknowledge that we are still working diligently to resolve any transportation concerns. We understand how important it is for students to arrive at school safely and on time, and our Transportation Department is committed to addressing any remaining issues as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to fine-tune our routes and schedules. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our Transportation Department at businfo@shalerarea.org or by calling 412-492-1200 ext. 2824.
Additionally, we want to remind all families to complete any necessary paperwork and update your contact information via Infinite Campus. Keeping your information current ensures that you receive important communications from the school and helps us maintain accurate records for your child. If you need assistance with accessing or updating your information, please contact us at infinite@shalerarea.org.
Finally, we encourage you to reach out to our teachers, school counselors, and principals if your child is experiencing any challenges acclimating to the new school year. We know sometimes families can feel uncertain about whether or not to connect, but please don’t hesitate to connect with us about any issues your child may be experiencing, no matter how big or small the problem may seem. We are here to support your child’s success and well-being every step of the way.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership as we navigate the beginning of this school year together. We look forward to all the wonderful achievements and growth that lie ahead for our students as we Engage, Empower, and Excel this school year.
Best regards,
