The Shaler Area High School Preschool Program operates from late September through early May, and follows Shaler Area closings for holidays and weather-related issues. There will be one session offered from 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday through Friday.

The Preschool Program has been developed to provide training for high school students in the field of early childhood education. The preschool program is directed by high school students, under the guidance and supervision of the instructor. Students are provided with instruction in developmentally appropriate practices, in accordance with guidelines established in a mandatory Child Development Course.
